Accounts Payable Clerk - 12 months Contract

At Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology, we provide tools for the engineering of micro- and nano-structures, with customers using our process solutions to research and produce materials and semiconductors vital for everything from medical devices and diagnostics, to electric cars and quantum computers.


We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who are looking to work part time (28 hours per week) and flexible hours. You will be responsible for processing Purchase Ledger invoices and supplier statement reconciliations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger invoice processing
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Work closely with Goods In and Purchasing Departments to sort invoice queries
  • File invoices online
  • Answer queries from suppliers.
  • Work closely with purchase ledger supervisor to prioritise tasks and manage workload
  • Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably required by the Company.
  • All employees have a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that of others who may be affected by their actions and behaviour.



  • GCSE Maths & English preferred.
  • Accounting qualifications not essential.
