Your key objective is to drive the definition and execution of our product strategy for production markets. This will result in increased market presence, volume growth, margin improvement and long term sustainability. You will be accountable for the creation and communication of the Customer Value Proposition (VoC/JTBD), Roadmap (including NPD proposals) and the profit and loss of your portfolio. You will communicate into the business your insight into our customers current and future challenges, our competitors and the market dynamics that drive our business.


Key Responsibilities

In summary you will lead the product strategy for your products and market focus, including planning and execution and be responsible for activities such as market analysis, developing and communicating CVP, building business cases and engaging stakeholders, setting the pricing strategy, launching and in-life management.

You will:

  • Work with the Strategic Marketing and Business Development Director and Market Managers to identify opportunities (markets and customers) for your market responsibility
  • Own the Product and Process Roadmap and be responsible for ensuring congruity between the Product Roadmap and the customers and markets roadmaps. Manage the “product creation” process with leading USPs and competitive differentiator.
  • Manage your products LifeCycle.
  • Be responsible for production positioning in the marketplace and competitor analysis for those products.
  • Work with the other Product Managers to ensure the overall Business investment and positioning is as optimised as possible. Drive strategic customer collaborations with targeted lighthouse companies.
  • Review and approve high risk customer engineering specials (NREs) for alignment to strategy
  • Work with the Technical Marketing and Marcomms teams to effectively market the Product and ensure that the Sales team has all the required “tools” and competitive marketing content. Agree conference and strategic customer road trip schedules.
  • Work with and support the Sales team, presenting when necessary, have an understanding of how to go beyond simple ‘features and benefits’ to sell on the Value Proposition.
  • Develop and maintain the cost of ownership modelling/information for your HVM solutions
  • Work with the Customer Service team to develop the after sales support policy - service philosophy, spares listing, equipment, maintenance programs.
  • Represent and promote our Plasma Technology brand and products via trade shows, conferences and user meetings
  • Ensure alignment with the needs and strategies of other departments such as operations, marketing, service operations, finance and compliance
  • Present and discuss recommendations with management.


  • Strong business management and marketing orientation and familiarity with current marketing and sales concepts/tools.

Professional Skills/Abilities:

  • A strong technical background in the products you are responsible for
  • Obsession with creating products that demonstrate superior value
  • Experience working for or with HVM customers to understand their challenges and deliver solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SEMI E10, SPC and other HVM standards and practices.
  • Impressive commercial skills
  • A background of using the right sources of data to make the best decisions (Analyse and conceptualize)
  • You can demonstrate your ability to drive results, influence people at all levels of Plasma and you make things happen (Transition department to a mobilizing management framework)
  • Strong decision-making and managerial skills
  • Good business judgment
  • Strong marketing instincts
  • Ability to work well and manage with different skill of people
  • Very good cross-functional leadership skills
