Quality Administrator

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Team Administrator to join our team at Severn Beach in Bristol. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to support our Quality and Purchasing departments while collaborating with various teams, including Production. Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of Non-conforming parts using Oxford Instruments business systems.
- This will include parts that require corrective actions at suppliers.
- This will include parts that require modification and/or rework on the Oxford Instruments site.
- Manage the critical functions within the process.
- Logging a non-conformance report
- Creation of a vendor return.
- Making stock movement transfers.
- Manage the logistics process (Arranging collection or dispatch from/to supplier)
- Manage communication with the supplier until the part is ready to be returned (including providing production/planning and procurement with the best delivery dates for the return).
- Close out Supplier SCARs within the OI Fault Reporting Notification (FRN)
- Provide coverage in the Quality Department where and whenever required.
- Report the number of vendor returns to suppliers – weekly.
- Number of supplier corrective actions closed and rejected - weekly.
- Report the number of outstanding supplier corrective action reports – weekly.
- Report the number of open supplier fault report notifications– monthly.
Education / Qualifications:
- Minimum ‘A’ Level or Equivalent.
Professional Skills/ Abilities:
- MS Office.
- 8D Reports
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditing
- Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Personal Qualities:
- Good communication skills.
- Highly numerate
- Able to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
- Ability to juggle priorities, work under pressure, and to work quickly and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
