 We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer with the primary purpose of designing software interfaces that enhance our brand reputation through market leading ease-of-use and visual experience.

Location: 

This is a hybrid role, with 1 day required in the office, however, we will also consider candidates on a remote basis (UK Only).

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with key stakeholders to understand design briefs and requirements and to verify through appropriate level of documentation and prototyping
  • Working within an Agile team to help develop high quality designs to agreed specifications and timescales
  • Working within the internally defined software design methodologies and tools to help develop fit-for-purpose and easy-to-use software features
  • Supporting team members during the design phase to enable the product to maintain required level of usability
  • Being an active member of the project team, engaging in design reviews and in discussions and trials of new tools and techniques 
  • Staying abreast of changes in thinking and technologies to advise on all areas of User Experience Design.

 

About you:

 

  • Excellent user-centred design and prototyping skills with ample years’ experience
  • Have a full understanding of UX and UI design.
  • Proficient in design and interaction software such as Figma or Adobe XD
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with a cross functional team.
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to gather requirements and understand user needs.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ideally - Experience with WPF/WinUI/XAML
  • Ideally - Experience using Azure Devops/Git

Our selection process:

Upon applying, our recruitment team will assess your application against our role requirements. An initial call with our Talent Acquisition partner will take place, to give you some more insight into the role and to gain more understanding of your experience and motivations. First interviews are conducted over Teams, where you'll meet with the hiring manager, to be followed (if successful) by a second interview with the R&D Director and HR.
