At X-Ray Technology, we design, develop and manufacture x-ray tubes and sources for use in numerous applications in manufacturing and testing.

 

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to help us develop new electronic designs to keep the product range relevant to current market demands. You will be responsible for the specification and design of electronic circuits and associated firmware/software for the control of x-ray tubes.

 

About the Opportunity: 

The Electircial Engineer (EE) will design and develop new products and automate solutions; review BOM, develop new test stations and test design limits; Use advanced modelling and analysis to develop and test design limits; Develop realistic development schedules and find creative ways to stay on schedule; Design, recommend and implement engineering tests. Keep abreast of current technology and suggest technologies from other industries that may be applicable to new development. Work with Materials Manager to successfully develop new vendors when new manufacturing techniques are required. 

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

•    Realize digital connectivity solutions to enable OIXT to offer IoT services to customers
•    Define the specification of high voltage power supplies and complete verification and validation of these systems
•    Define the specification of integrated x-ray sources, along with the completion of all necessary verification and validation
•    Say current on relevant electrical standards related to product and interface with test houses to ensure product compliance
•    Complete RMA analysis of product returned from the field
•    Implementation of automated systems into production work flow, with all relevant documentation
•    Implementation of new test capabilities into the production work flow, with all relevant documentation

 

About YOU:

The right candidate will have a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field  and 2 years in occupations involving electrical engineering.
