Production Technician - Glasser XT

We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented Production Technician Glasser to join our dynamic operations team.  You will help us build and ship high tech, high quality products to our customers around the world.  The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of hands on production experience.  We are a growing company and ramping up our production staff.   If you love hands on work, then make Oxford Instruments X-Ray Technology the next step in your career!

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Includes the following job duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
  • Micro assembly within a cleanroom environment
  • Production, Assembly, and Test equipment operation
  • Manufacture of high vacuum devices for x-ray technology applications


About YOU:  The right candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing/production, strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Solid communications skills both verbal and written are a must. 


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience of working within a cleanroom environment
  • Experience of working under a microscope
  • Experience of glass forming
  • Experience of working with a gas torch, TIG welding or similar


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms; Lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 pounds; Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and balance
