We are looking for a motivated colleague to join the product development team and to support further growth at our location in Ulm, Germany.

 

Test Engineer for Microscopy Systems (f/m/d)

 

Your Tasks:

  • Planning and execution of performance and repeatability tests on 0-series and microscopy system prototypes
  • Programming of automated test sequences
  • Analysis, evaluation, and documentation of test results
  • Close cooperation with the development, service, and application departments
  • Design, testing, and delivery of standard tests for assembly and application
  • Creation of reference measurements

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in optoelectronics or engineering/mechanical engineering
  • Alternatively, completed scientific studies (e.g. physics, biology, chemistry) or relevant work experience
  • Ideally working experience in one or several areas:

- Optics/Spectroscopy

- Microscopy

- Precision mechanics

- Programming (C#, Python, or similar.)

  • We would appreciate experience/qualifications in the following areas:

- LabVIEW

- Laser technology

- Spectroscopy

  • Interest in performing practical & systematic experiments
  • Know-how in the evaluation, presentation, and documentation of experimental series
  • A structured, independent, and goal-oriented way of working as well as problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in German and English
