The Opportunity

 

A critical part of our business strategy is to continue growing our Service business through excellent customer experiences. You will be a key part of the EMEA Service management team, responsible for delivering customer service standards that differentiate our business from competitors. You will have the opportunity to innovate and deploy best practices from service leading organisations.

Your primary purpose will be to drive service revenue growth in EMEA region, as well as demonstrate a real customer focus, and the ability to work with new and existing customers to offer innovative and profitable solutions across our service portfolio.

 

 About You

 

The Service Sales Specialist will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Appropriate level education to enable interpretation of complex principles and assessment of risk, science/ engineering degree preferable
  • Previous sales experience in Scientific Instrumentation (3 Years) in either an inside or outside sales role.
  • Fluent in English and German. Other European languages advantageous.
  • A good understanding of the Semiconductor industry would be an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Team player as part of the Service Team but able to work alone on the commercial aspects.
  • Able to effectively manage time and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft excel, PowerPoint
  • Competitive and target driven
  • Personable, confident, and a willing to drive the sales process
  • Proactive and highly self-motivated

 

Key Responsibilities for the Service Sales Specialist

 

  • Promote and sell Plasma Technology and Nanoscience service portfolio (including service contracts, upgrades, trainings, spare parts etc.), developing and implementing a strategic sales and marketing plan to ensure achievement of annual sales targets and longer-term growth targets within your territory.
  • Using the install base information proactively identify and qualify potential future service business.
  • Qualify prospects and manage customer requirements, showing a good understanding of technologies and applications to support customers, pre and post service sales.
  • Support the Sales teams with information and pricing for all services sold at point of system sale.
  • Maintain and enter customer contacts, leads, service sales and pipeline status in the CRM database.
  • Provide EMEA market feedback to business service Product Managers to assist in the development of the appropriate service packages across the business units.
  • Provide timely metrics on all commercial aspects of the service business including orders, revenues, pipeline, won/lost reasons
  • Assist with the administration of the contracts and services sold.
  • Keep up with product and service information and updates.
  • Explain and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
