Graduate/Associate Hardware Engineer

We are currently going through a period of significant growth and are expanding our Engineering Team so we are recruiting for a Graduate or Associate Hardware Engineer.  The successful candidate will work in the Product Engineering team enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio and providing technical support. The role extends to gathering and managing product requirements, developing and administering quality testing initiatives and providing support for customer queries and production.

 

You will join a Hardware development team working alongside our other highly experienced multidisciplinary teams including Physicists, Software, Mechanical and FPGA engineers.  Key responsibilities include the support for existing products, deliver continuous improvement in new developments, take part in requirements gathering based on system specifications for new products and providing technical support to internal and external customers.

 

The Graduate/Associate Hardware Engineer will have: 

  • 2.1 (or higher) BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification

OR

  • 3 years relevant experience

This permanent position is based at our Belfast Headquarters.
