Purchasing Manager

Andor is currently recruiting for an experience Purchasing Manager to lead the Purchasing function through a transformation program building capability to deliver our ambitious growth strategy.  With the planned implementation of an ERP system and the continued embedding of S&OP, the change leader will play a criticial role in leading, guiding and engaging the Purchasing team. 

 

Some of the main responsibilities include:

  • Drive a team culture that is consistent with Andor's vision, strategy and values
  • Work with Strategic Sourcing team to minimise supplier costs & rish whilst maximising PPV
  • NPI new part management
  • Manage key supplier relationships, performance, commerical agreements

 

The Purchasing Manager will have: 

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or Science Discipline or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Supply chain qualification, CIPS or equivalent
  • Previous experience of successfully managing, coaching and developing a team
  • A strong track record of implementation of supplier development and cost reduction programs
  • Experience of implementing and running automated planning systems 
  • Highly experienced in managing stock levels
