Quality Engineer

Andor has ambitious growth plans for the next 5-year period, and the Quality Engineering team is a key part of this growth.  We are hiring for a Quality Engineer will play an important part in supporting the daily production needs and also implementing the growth strategy. The Quality Engineer will be  responsible for championing internal and external quality investigations with a focus on supplier quality. The Quality Engineer will coordinate cross-functional teams in order to resolve issues, ensuring timely implementation of interim and permanent corrective actions. The role holder will also work alongside technical teams to ensure quality is built into scientific solutions being developed at Andor.

 

This permanent position is based at our Belfast headquarters working on a hybrid model.   


The Quality Engineer will have:

 

  • BSc/BEng qualification in in a computer, technical or numeric subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics or equivalent qualification
  • 2 years’ experience of hands-on quality engineering experience.
  • Strong supplier quality focus

 

An electrical/electronic engineering background and experience of working in a Supplier Quality role within a low volume, high value manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
