Application Support Analyst

High Wycombe / Bristol 

Are you a technically minded ERP Analyst with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement? Oxford Instruments is seeking an ERP Application Support Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. You’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing our ERP systems, ensuring smooth operations across multiple sites, and contributing to exciting new implementations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for ERP systems (SyteLine), Doc-Trak, Shop-Trak, and associated applications
  • Train users on best practices to drive consistency
  • Liaise with third-party vendors while maintaining ownership of incidents
  • Assist with new site setups and ERP-related projects
  • Use SQL to interrogate and analyse data
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes
  • Manage ERP security and user setup
  • Maintain technical documentation and test new functionality

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting enterprise-level ERP systems
  • Strong technical understanding of SQL
  • Experience with Infor products and/or SyteLine (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering industries (desirable)
  • Exposure to PLM applications (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to change
  • A proactive, user-focused mindset with a desire to learn and grow

This role is a hybrid role with the main location being High Wycombe or Bristol. We work 8.00 until 4.30 Monday to Thursday and finish at 1.00 on a Friday so you can start your weekend early. We typically work three days per week in the office so it is important that you are able to get to our High Wycombe or Bristol location.
