Oxford Instruments NanoScience design, manufacture and supply ultra-low temperature and magnetic systems that support research to the atomic scale. Our core technology is based in low and ultra-low temperatures, high magnetic fields and system integration, with increasing levels of experimental and measurement readiness.

The other part of the role would be preparing the necessary documents for the submission of customer orders to the commercial team.

 

If you have experience of managing the tender/bid process for a high-tech company, or if you are a highly organised, meticulous individual with experience of rigorous administration, then we would love to hear from you.

 

The opportunity

 

In this role you will be responsible for the bid management process from publication of the tender until submission of the bid. You will ensure that all bid documentation is clear, concise, and compliant with the requirement of the tender. You will source and co-ordinate content input to ensure the visual standard of all documentation and presentation material is first class and eye-catching.  You will also help the sales team in preparing all necessary documents for order entering.

 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  It would be desirable if you had prior experience of overseeing complex bid processes within a similar high-tech environment, where you have had to motivate yourself and others around you.  However, as long as you have a thorough approach to work, ability to multitask and learn about our products you will be a real asset. Knowledge of a second language is not essential but may be advantageous.
