Job Purpose
To provide Demo\technique support\applications development on all NMR products particularly X-Pulse, MQC in China and other systems. To establish and maintain on customer satisfaction and confidence by appropriate actions and attitude.
To explore NMR opportunity in both industrial and academic market.
To drive NMR growth in the high-tech instrument market and achieve China sales targets.
To foster customer relationships, maximizing current product sales, exploring new markets for existing products, providing market intelligence, and offering insightful competition feedback to management.

Key Responsibilities
- Owns the timely development of NMR and Raman measurement techniques including:
- Sample preparation
- Drives the development of applications for new and existing products
- Perform NMR/Raman demo focused on the research interests and needs of prospective customers.
- Develop new applications and techniques and author technical notes, application notes, and/ or scientific journal articles.
- To explore NMR opportunities in both industrial and academic market by working closely with all stakeholders within I&A, including sales, applications, marketing, etc.
- To identify and engage with key customer accounts, both current and potential, to define current and future instrument and application requirements.
- Translates technique related materials
- Provides expert analysis of NMR data/Raman data
- Liaises with external NMR/Raman experts as needed to ensure we stay ahead of the competition
- Investigates and analyses competitors' equipment and publications
- Trains colleagues, customers and agents as required
- Maintains the applications laboratory and sustains a safe working environment
- Present new application developments and data at worldwide conferences and workshops, webinars and meetings.
- Travels internationally as needed
Sales management
• To explore NMR opportunities in both industrial and academic market by working closely with all stakeholders within I&A, including sales, applications, marketing, etc.
• To manage NMR business by matrix management and lead the team and sales process from start to finish.
• To prepare forecast NMR business with accuracy regularly and maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database.
• To mentor, coach and train sales members on all details of sale process.
• To identify and engage with key customer accounts, both current and potential, to define current and future instrument and application requirements.
• To provide ongoing and timely strategic market input for the appraisal and execution of business opportunities in China.
• To create a team-wide system to ensure prompt and efficient follow up on new inquiries.
• To maintain good customer relationships by providing regular contact and developing self as technical “go-to person” within the market.
• To always project a professional and competent image of Oxford Instruments.
• To attend conferences, exhibitions and workshops as necessary in support of sales.
• To participate in training and development activities as required.
