Basic Information

  • Job Title: Finance Operation Manager
  • Report to: China Finance Director
  • Team Management: No direct people management responsibility. This role is an individual contributor manager level, focusing on end-to-end financial operation governance, process ownership, control enhancement and cross-functional driving.
  • Business Coverage: Dual China legal entities: OIT (after-sales & spare parts service business) + Waigaoqiao FTZ (whole system trading company).

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operation & Process optimization

  • Take charge of full-cycle O2C / P2P / R2R financial operations for two Chinese legal entities
  • Continuously standardize, simplify and optimize cross-entity financial workflows
  • Formulate dedicated SOPs for after-sales service business and FTZ trading business
  • Guarantee stable, high-standard financial operation output

2. Internal Control & Audit

  • Develop and roll out internal control frameworks and key control points aligned with group standards for China business
  • Carry out regular internal control testing, identify control loopholes and push forward rectification actions
  • Act as the main liaison for internal audit and external audit activities
  • Ensure all audit issues are fully closed and continuously improve internal control system

3. Multi-entity Intercompany Transaction Management

  • Take full ownership of whole-process governance for all intercompany transactions
  • Manage domestic intercompany service charge settlement between the two local entities
  • Administer cross-border related-party transactions with overseas affiliates
  • Implement intercompany pricing policies and complete monthly intercompany reconciliations
  • Finish statutory intercompany filings and maintain transfer pricing contemporaneous documentation
  • Ensure full compliance of all intercompany businesses

4. Local Tax Compliance Management

  • Be fully responsible for compliance work of Waigaoqiao FTZ business
  • Manage bonded inventory, import & export procedures and export VAT refund work
  • Promote the application and implementation of FTZ preferential tax policies
  • Organize regular nationwide tax risk assessment and tax compliance review
  • Support annual tax declaration and cooperate with external tax consultants

5. Working Capital & Cash Flow Governance

  • Independently promote the optimization of China’s working capital indicators (DSO, DIO, DPO, CCC)
  • Collaborate with sales, service and supply chain teams across departments
  • Speed up customer collection, optimize inventory volume and negotiate favorable supplier payment terms
  • Assist in preparing short-term cash flow forecasts and meet the data demands of group treasury team

6. ERP System & Data Governance

  • Be responsible for unified financial master data governance of dual entities
  • Put forward ERP process optimization demands and manage system access permissions
  • Improve overall operational data quality
  • Propose financial digital transformation, process automation and RPA upgrade projects
  • Cut manual workload and raise financial data accuracy

7. FTZ New Company Establishment Support

  • Provide comprehensive financial support throughout the whole establishment process of the new Waigaoqiao FTZ company
  • Assist in financial-related registration, filing, policy confirmation and preliminary financial process setup for the new entity
  • Support pre-operation financial preparation to ensure compliant and smooth launch of FTZ trading business

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines; CPA/ACCA/CIMA holder is preferred.
  • Over 7 years financial operation experience in multinational manufacturing / industrial equipment industry, proficient in full financial processes, internal control, tax compliance and working capital management.
  • Practical experience in operating dual legal entities, managing intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Familiar with Shanghai FTZ trading, bonded inventory, import & export procedures and export VAT refund mechanism.
  • Practical experience in ERP management, financial process optimization and automation project rollout.
  • Strong risk awareness, logical thinking and cross-departmental project promotion ability.
  • Fluent oral and written English for independent communication with global counterparts.
  • Solid business insight, rigorous working style, capable of handling complex multi-entity financial scenarios.
