Your Tasks
Part of the Oxford Instruments Group, WITec GmbH is a leading global manufacturer of high-resolution, nanoanalytical microscopy systems. Our customers - university and industrial research laboratories - greatly value the precision, versatility and flexibility of our instruments.
WITec’s product range features the world's best confocal Raman microscopes, which can be equipped with AFM, SNOM, and even SEM in select configurations. Our systems can be adapted to the individual requirements of our customers. They contribute worldwide to new insights and solutions in many areas of science, research and development.
To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated colleague to join our electronics production team in Ulm, Germany.
Production Manager Electronics (f/m/d)
Your Tasks:
- Organization & coordination of electronics production
- Accompaniment of assemblies over their entire life cycle: from the idea to series production, incl. technical support & product maintenance
- Assembly of microscope components, troubleshooting and repair
- Production of control electronics
- Assembly, test & maintenance of electronic components
- Implementation & further development of quality assurance/monitoring of active assemblies/modules through semi- and fully automated test procedures
- Purchasing & procurement of electronic components & parts
- Development & maintenance of technical documentation
- Cooperation with other departments e.g. service & marketing
Your Qualifications:
- Completed technical or scientific studies (e.g. electrical engineering, optoelectronics, physics)
- Several years of proven experience in electronics production & procurement, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing technology role
- Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial:
o analog circuit design and/or digital technology
o microcontroller and/or programmable logic devices
o circuit diagrams and parts lists
o manual assembly (soldering) of modules

- Negotiation and presentation skills
- Very good written and spoken English and German ability
