At Oxford Instruments, we combine innovation with precision to support cutting-edge technology and manufacturing. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Wiesbaden and play a key role in delivering high-quality finance operations.

Your impact

As part of a centralised finance team, you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, on time, and in line with German accounting standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices (PO and non-PO) with accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure correct coding (GL, cost centres, VAT) and compliance with internal policies
• Manage invoice workflows and approvals
• Post and reconcile AP transactions, resolving discrepancies proactively
• Support payment runs across multiple currencies
• Act as a key contact for vendors and internal stakeholders, handling queries professionally

What you bring

• Experience in Accounts Payable within a German environment
• Good understanding of German VAT and accounting practices
• Familiarity with tools such as DATEV, AP workflow systems, or electronic banking (e.g. S-Firm)
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
• A structured, reliable approach with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international/remote team
• Fluent German and good English communication skills
