Location: Germany-based with travels across Europe and internationally

Field: Material Science / Physics / Chemistry

Specialization: Electron Microscopy & Microanalysis

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver expert application support for our sales, service, and OEM teams, as well as direct customers.
  • Plan and conduct world-class demos, training, and hands-on sessions—both in-house and on customer sites.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless support, from technical training to product feedback.
  • Create and contribute to marketing and technical materials (application notes, blogs, webinars).
  • Collaborate on prototype testing, product enhancements, and the development of new solutions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.

 

 What You Bring:

  • A degree in Material Science, Physics, or Chemistry is required.
  • A MSc or PhD in microanalysis or related industrial experience is a strong advantage.
  • Deep interest in materials science and electron microscopy.
  • Hands-on experience with EM and microanalysis technologies in a research or customer-focused environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills—able to simplify complex technical topics.
  • Solid knowledge of microanalysis methods and tools.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and strong administrative/reporting capabilities
  • Well-organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive and independent, with a “can-do” mindset.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally, including overnight stays.
